{"id":55529,"date":"2017-10-10T18:42:43","date_gmt":"2017-10-10T17:42:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/?p=55529"},"modified":"2017-10-10T18:43:50","modified_gmt":"2017-10-10T17:43:50","slug":"dolor-cronico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/dolor-cronico\/","title":{"rendered":"Dolor Cr\u00f3nico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El dolor es una\u00a0<strong>experiencia<\/strong>\u00a0individual (<strong>subjetiva<\/strong>) compleja y de car\u00e1cter\u00a0<strong>desagradable, que incluye aspectos sensoriales, emocionales y sociales.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El dolor, como otras se\u00f1ales que nuestro cuerpo nos env\u00eda, desempe\u00f1a una importante funci\u00f3n adaptativa imprescindible para nuestra supervivencia. Se\u00f1ala la presencia de un est\u00edmulo nocivo que nos est\u00e1 provocando un da\u00f1o o lesi\u00f3n y, de este modo, nos impulsa a poner en marcha las respuestas necesarias para poner fin o evitar dicha estimulaci\u00f3n. Esta descripci\u00f3n, sin embargo, no es aplicable a todos los tipos de dolor.<\/p>\n<p>Podr\u00edamos hablar de la existencia de dos grandes categor\u00edas de dolor; por un lado el\u00a0<strong>dolor agudo<\/strong>\u00a0y, por otro, el\u00a0<strong>dolor cr\u00f3nico<\/strong>. El primero se ajustar\u00eda a la definici\u00f3n anterior y, de este modo, nos resultar\u00eda bastante intuitivo comprender la funci\u00f3n adaptativa que desempe\u00f1a. El dolor cr\u00f3nico, sin embargo, no funciona de la misma manera y se prolonga en el tiempo dejando de desempe\u00f1ar esta funci\u00f3n para convertirse en un problema en s\u00ed mismo.<\/p>\n<p>En el siguiente cuadro quedar\u00edan recogidas algunas de las diferencias entre ambos:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/tipos-de-dolor\/\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1782\" src=\"http:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Tipos-de-dolor-1024x597.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"597\" srcset=\"https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Tipos-de-dolor-1024x597.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Tipos-de-dolor-600x350.jpg 600w, https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Tipos-de-dolor-300x175.jpg 300w, https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Tipos-de-dolor-768x448.jpg 768w, https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Tipos-de-dolor.jpg 1898w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Melzack y Wall<\/strong>, postularon una teor\u00eda (conocida como la Teor\u00eda de la Puerta de Entrada o Teor\u00eda de la Compuerta) que, poniendo \u00e9nfasis en los mecanismos biol\u00f3gicos del dolor, pon\u00eda de manifiesto, sin embargo la<strong>\u00a0existencia de una serie de factores, de \u00edndole psicol\u00f3gica y social, que podr\u00edan incrementar o reducir la sensaci\u00f3n dolorosa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/factores-que-abren-y-cierran-la-puerta\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1783\" src=\"http:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Factores-que-abren-y-cierran-la-puerta-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"680\" srcset=\"https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Factores-que-abren-y-cierran-la-puerta-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Factores-que-abren-y-cierran-la-puerta-600x398.jpg 600w, https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Factores-que-abren-y-cierran-la-puerta-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/psicoterapia-gap.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Factores-que-abren-y-cierran-la-puerta-768x510.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>De este modo,\u00a0<strong>la actuaci\u00f3n sobre estos factores,\u00a0<\/strong>que compete directamente al quehacer profesional de los psic\u00f3logos,<strong>\u00a0podr\u00eda favorecer un mejor manejo de la experiencia de dolor<\/strong>\u00a0(llegando incluso a reducir la intensidad de dicha experiencia).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enfermedades y Condiciones<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Existen numerosas condiciones que se acompa\u00f1an de dolor en su faceta cr\u00f3nica o bien en las cuales el dolor es precisamente su rasgo definitorio fundamental.
